I've been reading one of my friend's travelogue, which has been very interesting. He picked up a hitchhiker, who had been in the military and the guy was telling him about his life and how he'd been in prison. This man had been in solitary with a man serving 3 life sentences for murdering his wife and children. Both the military man and this murderer describe blacking out and engaging in extreme violence which they didn't remember. In the travelogue, my friend spoke of the evil of mankind. I agree in some respects, but I think there is more to it than what is presented here.
How does a man described as an ordinary office worker, perfectly average Joe, suddenly snap, black out, and murder his wife and children? Yes mankind is wicked, but I guess I have more sympathy for the guy, because I know what was likely done to him.
Let us take a step back for a moment and look at the larger forces at work in this world.
There are two major forces at work on earth: one good and one evil. God created everything here and made the rules, defined good and evil. He gave mankind the ability to choose between good and evil--free will. Evil came into the world at the hands of a fallen angel, Satan, or otherwise called Lucifer. When man chose to believe the lies of Lucifer, they entered a fallen state of sin and wickedness. God prepared a place to punish the fallen angel Satan, and the angels who fell with him: hell. Now a battle is being waged. Satan wants to bring down mankind, and take them into hell with him. He uses every form of deception and trickery to do so.
God, on the other hand, desires all mankind to be saved from hell. But they have free will, they must choose Him over the lies of the world and Satan. He loves his creation. He gave them everything they needed for sustaining their lives: shelter, food. He gave them the beauty of all his creation to enjoy. And most importantly, he gave an escape from the dilemma they are all born into: mankind is born into sin and separated from God. They cannot enter Heaven in that condition. So He sent his only beloved Son, Jesus, to earth in order to pay the penalty for our sins. He died so we wouldn't have to. Our bodies die physically, but we have eternal life when we put our trust in Jesus and what he did for us. When we do this, we don't have to join Satan in the hell prepared for him. So basically, you are either choosing God or Satan, there isn't another choice All of this will culminate in one huge end time war, where Satan masses the world population to do battle against God. He will lose this war, and all who follow him in his deception will follow him to hell.
So back to our office worker spending three life sentences in prison for killing his wife and children. Yes, this is horrific. But even this man can be forgiven by God and enter into eternal life with Him if he repents and puts his trust in Jesus. What was likely done to this man is even more horrific. Satan is creating an army for this end times battle...super soldiers. They are what is depicted in the Manchurian Candidate. What was done previously was a person was tortured so much that they disassociate...their personality splits. One personality is safe while the other is horribly tortured. They are able to program the different personalities for different tasks. One is always a soldier, trained to kill. One is there to oversee and protect. The killer can be triggered by being put in dangerous situations, or by perceived danger.
Satan is currently in charge of the nations of the world, which explains why governments are so evil. The military is one major place where these Manchurican candidates are being churned out, but I don't believe that everyone who has been in the military has had this done to him. The other major arena where these programmed people are being created is among Satanic worshippers and witches. These take children and subject them to all kinds of horrors, in order to gain power and create these Manchurian candidates. These two groups are the most heavily influenced by Satan: the military and his explicit followers, so they are getting the most clear info on the world he wants to create: one of endless misery and suffering.
Let us take a look at the followers of God vs. the followers of Satan. God's most basic instruction early on was the Ten Commandments:
You shall have no other gods before Me.
You shall make no idols.
You shall not take the name of the Lord your God in vain.
Keep the Sabbath day holy.
Honor your father and your mother.
You shall not murder.
You shall not commit adultery.
You shall not steal.
You shall not bear false witness against your neighbor.
You shall not covet.
Now imagine what the world would be like if these were followed. No murder, no stealing, no lying, no adultery, people loving God. Jesus summed this up with just 2 commands: love God and love one another. You can't lie cheat murder your neighbor while loving them. It all revolves around considering what God and others need.
Satan's most basic instruction is this: do what thou will is the whole of the law. (Very similar to the libertarian credo, huh?) It's not hard to imagine a world where this is followed. If I feel like murdering someone I just go for it. If lying gets me ahead, I just go for it. It all revolves around me and what I want.
Which do you choose? I choose God and try and live by his ways. I don't always succeed, but He helps me along. He is merciful and good.
Now back to these two gentlemen: I suspect in the crimes they were convicted of, they had been robbed of their ability to choose. They switched personalities and became the killers they were programmed to be. Are they guilty: yes, but they can not only be forgiven but God can heal them, make them whole again. I know several people who have been healed this way. Every person on earth who is capable of decision making is responsible for this choice: choose God or the world.
So that is why I have sympathy for those who are programmed. They can't really be responsible for what they have done, but they are responsible for choosing God or not.
