I went out to gather eggs, and when I came out of the chicken coop I heard a distressed bird. This little dove had become entangled in the bird netting. I tried to get her out but she was too entangled. Se I went in for some scissors and cut her free. I guess she liked my gloved hand because when I opened it to release her, she just sat there. It was only when I tried to set her down that she flew away.

It made me think about how God sets us free. We get so entangled by sin and so trapped and helpless. But God will gingerly pick us up and clip each tie that binds us.
