Have you noticed all the crazy stuff going on in the world? Floods, fires, coronavirus, threats of war, earthquakes, hurricanes, volcanoes? We’ve seen all this stuff before, but not on this scale and not all at once. It’s a warning from God. This Titanic is going down. Get on the lifeboat now! There will be a time soon where it will be too late to escape. The stuff that will happen in the 7 year tribulation period will be so horrific...I can assure you that you don’t want to be here for it. Read the Book of Revelation. It’s easy to find..it’s the last book in the Bible.
How do you get on the lifeboat. Jesus is the lifeboat. You need to realize the truth of who He is and what He has done for you. We all have sinned and become separated from God. God decreed death as the payment for sin. You can pay it yourself, which means when you die you spend all eternity in the lake of fire. Have you ever burned your hand while cooking? It’s such an awful pain, but you’d be feeling that all over, not for a few hours but for eternity. But God did something wonderful so you wouldn’t have to experience that. God came down to earth and was born and lived as a man. He was tempted as we are tempted, but he never sinned. Earlier, God allowed the death of a sacrificial animal to temporarily pay for sin. But Jesus offered himself up as that sacrifice, and this was permanent payment for our sins.
Jesus died as the lamb of God, and rose from the dead after the third day. Death is conquered! Now, when we accept that sacrifice on our behalf, we repent from our sins and receive eternal life when we abide in Jesus. It’s like a marriage proposal. Jesus has proposed, but you have to accept the offer to become His bride. While you’re waiting for him to return to finish the marriage and take you home, you have to keep yourself pure, abide in Him. He is your Lord, meaning He’s in charge. Soon, He’s returning for His bride and snatching her away. (That’s the lifeboat I was talking about) Be ready for him by praying all the time, and reading the bible. That’s how you will get to know your groom and abide with him.
Be ready. The time is REALLY REALLY short!
If you do miss the lifeboat, you will be living in dangerous times like have never been seen on earth before. You won’t have time guaranteed for you to become a follower of Christ and avoid hell. Put your trust in Him right away! Repent! You will most likely die, but you will then enter heaven, and not spend eternity in hell. He died for you. Now you will need to die for his sake.
Jesus loved you so much He was willing to suffer great pain and die in your place. Don’t let that sacrifice be for nothing. “Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.”
There could be seriously just days left before everything explodes. Get in the lifeboat today while you still can!
