Warning to the Church

Dear Church,

I am writing this to warn you: if you are living in sin and relying on Once Saved Always Saved Calvinist doctrine to exonerate you from your sin, you are in danger of the fire.

Romans 11 states, speaking of the chosen people, Israel:

19 You will say then, “Branches were broken off that I might be grafted in.” 20 Well said. Because of unbelief they were broken off, and you stand by faith. Do not be haughty, but fear. 21 For if God did not spare the natural branches, He may not spare you either. 22 Therefore consider the goodness and severity of God: on those who fell, severity; but toward you, goodness, if you continue in His goodness. Otherwise you also will be cut off.

The Israelites who did not obey were broken off, and they were God’s covenant people. Gentiles were allowed to be grafted in. They were a branch in his tree. They were saved people: IF YOU CONTINUE IN HIS GOODNESS. Fear God: you could also be cut off.

Jesus speaks to the churches in the beginning of the book of Revelation:

“Nevertheless I have this against you, that you have left your first love. Remember therefore from where you have fallen; repent and do the first works, or else I will come to you quickly and remove your lampstand from its place—unless you repent.”

Having your lampstand removed can’t be a good thing…

“Be faithful until death, and I will give you the crown of life.”

Kinda sounds like if you aren’t faithful, you won’t have the crown of life, eh?

“But I have a few things against you, because you have there those who hold the doctrine of Balaam, who taught Balak to put a stumbling block before the children of Israel, to eat things sacrificed to idols, and to commit sexual immorality. Thus you also have those who hold the doctrine of the Nicolaitans, which thing I hate. Repent, or else I will come to you quickly and will fight against them with the sword of My mouth.”

Now I know that having Jesus come and fight against me would be really really bad! Maybe staying in sexual immorality isn’t such a good idea.

“Nevertheless I have a few things against you, because you allow that woman Jezebel, who calls herself a prophetess, to teach and seduce My servants to commit sexual immorality and eat things sacrificed to idols. And I gave her time to repent of her sexual immorality, and she did not repent. Indeed I will cast her into a sickbed, and those who commit adultery with her into great tribulation, unless they repent of their deeds. I will kill her children with death, and all the churches shall know that I am He who searches the minds and hearts. And I will give to each one of you according to your works.”

Remember, these are messages to those in the church. Sexual immorality without repentance → sickbed, great tribulation, death.

To the Laodicean Church (American Church) he wrote:

“I know your works, that you are neither cold nor hot. I could wish you were cold or hot. So then, because you are lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will vomit you out of My mouth. Because you say, ‘I am rich, have become wealthy, and have need of nothing’—and do not know that you are wretched, miserable, poor, blind, and naked— I counsel you to buy from Me gold refined in the fire, that you may be rich; and white garments, that you may be clothed, that the shame of your nakedness may not be revealed; and anoint your eyes with eye salve, that you may see. As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten. Therefore be zealous and repent.”

Now to be vomited out of Jesus, you would have needed to be in Jesus to start with. I don’t personally want to be vomited out. I want to remain in Him.

The time is now.

“Behold, He is coming with clouds, and every eye will see Him, even they who pierced Him. And all the tribes of the earth will mourn because of Him. Even so, Amen.”
