Declaration of In-Dependence

Oh Lord, we have striven so hard for independence, when what we really needed was dependence. We need you Lord. Oh how we need you. Oh Lord, help us learn to depend on you. Help us to put all of our trust in you.
We are children who think, “I can do it myself.” The truth is we are nothing without you, Lord our God. We are literally no thing. You, Lord God, made all things and nothing exists except by your will. You made the heavens and the earth. You made the sun, moon and stars. You made the plants and all the amazing creatures of the earth and sea. Without you we have not a single breath, not a single thought, no provision for our life. All life springs forth from you.
All throughout man’s history, you have carefully lead us in the way we should go. You gave the law and showed us right from wrong, clean from unclean, holy from unholy. You gave us Jesus who showed us true love and righteousness. You gave us your Holy Spirit when we follow Jesus, and your Spirit leads us and guides us. You made a way for us when there seemed to be no way to return to you.
Without you, we so quickly go astray. When we don’t listen to you, so much trouble and heartache ensues. Man didn’t listen in the Garden of Eden, and now we have death. Oh what misery there has been because we brought death into the world! Oh the suffering that the separation of death has caused. We not only are separated from you, Lord our God, we get separated from all those we love.
Now Lord God, we have strayed so far from you and what devastation there is on the earth! We have denied your existence, and even the church who calls themselves by your name are lukewarm and far from your presence. Our children are taught to hate you, and look how wickedness abounds on the earth!
The people are all ensnared by this Pharmaceia. It is just as you told us it would be in the end times. “the light of a lamp will never shine in you again; and the voice of the groom and bride will never be heard in you again; for your merchants were the powerful people of the earth, because all the nations were deceived by your witchcraft (pharmaceia).” Lord all the nations have been deceived by the drugs. They have taken this “vaccine” and are dying en masse. They have taken pharmaceutical drugs and are drugged out of their minds, or sick and dying from those. They have taken the illegal drugs and have become so ensnared that they cannot even function as human beings any longer. Places like Philadelphia, Chicago, New York, San Francisco are becoming havens from violent crime, and the drug addicts litter the streets. Will the whole country devolve into lawlessness? Will the whole world do so?
Oh how we need you Lord! You told us the way to go so these things would not happen to us. If we return to your path of righteousness, will we not be saved out of this mess? Please Lord, open the eyes of the blind. Grant us godly sorrow leading to repentance. Our path has only lead to death and destruction. We need you to lead us and guide us. We need you to order our steps, every hour of every day. Lord help us to become dependent on you, to realize how you are worthy of all our trust and devotion.
