Fence Sitting

Sitting on the Fence

You believe that God exists, but do not do what God has asked of you. He created you and this whole universe. He knows what is best. He has chosen to reveal himself in the Bible, our instruction manual. What does it tell us to do? Put our trust in Him.

So why do that now, when it would mean changing your life? Why not wait until you're old and about to die? There are many reasons to put your trust in God.

Betrayed by Men

Have you been betrayed by men so bad that your soul is just torn apart? You gave your best, all your love and trust, and the object of your love just trampled on all that was good in you?

There is one who understands your pan completely. He experienced that same pain. He loved men more completely than anyone loved before. He literally gave men the world. But men trampled on his love. They nailed him to a cross

Jesus and men

God himself came into the world and walked among us: Jesus walked with men, taught them, tried to show them the meaning of love. He healed them. He fed them when they were hungry. He cast out the demons who tormented men. So what did men do? They beat him until he was nearly unrecognizable as a man. They nailed him to a tree and let him die there.

Don't be ignorant

38 “You have heard that it was said, ‘An eye for an eye, and a tooth for a tooth.’ 39 But I say to you, do not resist an evil person; but whoever slaps you on your right cheek, turn the other to him also. 40 If anyone wants to sue you and take your shirt, let him have your coat also. 41 Whoever forces you to go one mile, go with him two. 42 Give to him who asks of you, and do not turn away from him who wants to borrow from you.

Pray for those who persecute you

Christians, you got a problem with Muslims and what they're doing? Do you pray for them? You got a problem with this politician or that politician? Do you pray for them? You got a problem with the gay agenda? Do you pray for the homosexuals? You got a problem that your neighbor done you wrong? Do you pray for for your neighbor? You got a problem that your boss or coworker done you wrong? Do you pray for them?

Why be reconciled to God?

Why be reconciled to God?

2 Corinthians 5
20 Therefore, we are the Messiah’s representatives, as though God were pleading through us. We plead on the Messiah’s behalf: “Be reconciled to God!” 21 God made the one who did not know sin to be sin for us, so that God’s righteousness would be produced in us.
